someone just indicated that 2001 up trans am have ls6 instake and mafd !
Is it true ?!

All 2001 LS1 cars and up have the "ls6" intake, which is why it should be called the 2001+ intake, not the ls6 intake <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

I think you would not want to spend $300 on a MAF anyhow. The Pace LS6 MAF is a better choice at almost half the price. You can get screened or descreened and can get the IAT sensor relocated to the MAF if you choose.

My 01 ran very rich from the factory and the Pace LS6 MAF made it much worse with A/F ratio's in the 10's. The GMAF brought me to 12.9 where it should be.

I think the best and most cost effective way to do it is port your own maf, and then buy a mafT to correct it.
