i got an EGR block off plate from pace parts and it was not what i expected. i thought it would go on the manifold so that i wouldn't have that dumb EGR stuff in the way anymore. do any of the sponsors here make one and if not, then why don't they? thanks

I ghetto-rigged one. I took the stock EGR valve, and removed the flange from the bottom. I then sandwiched a chunk of aluminum flashing and a couple gaskets and bolted it down. Works like a champ.

I turned a solid piece of Delrin plastic to the same dimensions as the stock EGR pipe, except shorter so it doesn't hang down into the airflow. The stock rubber o-ring stays in the manifold and seals fine on the Delrin. I held the Delrin plug in the manifold with the stock screw and a piece of black sheet metal on top. It looks stock.
