Default Head bolt questions, ordered wrong ones.

Well I got my box from summit racing today, along with the ARP head bolts. I think I must have ordered the wrong head bolts.

ARP part #: 234-3701

Summit's website says these fit the 6.0, 4.8, and 5.3 engines but these just dotn seem to be the right ones, maybe just cause im a noob.

Could someone please confirm wether these are the correct bolts for me?

The block is an 01-04ish 6.0 block and heads are 317 castings from an 04.

Thanks guys!
Michael

i think the ones you need are 234-4316.those are the ones for an ls1/ls6 or a pre 2004 ish 6.0. i can't remember the part number for the bolts but my block was a newer one and i myself had the wrong bolts,i needed the ones for a newer block

What really confused me was that when I checked the part # on summit it says that these are the same bolts used for heads on like 1956+ motors.. I think maybe they are mislabeled or something.. Either way I think if I cany get an answer here tonight i'll call up summit tommorow and ask them to check for me. Wouldent be the first time they had a part mislabeled.. My column shifter gauge housing was completely wrong year, made for 99-02, not for the 03+ yet was labled as 99-present.

Thanks,
Lurius

Those are the studs, im just looking for the bolts now, I dont think i'lkl be making enough power to worry about requiring studs just yet, and cant justify the 110$ extra for them at the moment.

I had the same problem on my 04 vette. ended up ordering 234-4317 pro series studs. In 2004, gm changed the studs to equal length. If your car is 2003 or older, you need to order multi length studs or bolts.

234-3701 are lt1 cylinder head bolts. definately a misorder. try 134-3609 ls1 unequal length bolts through 2003.
