Default Will a 99 LS1 intake & coolant pipes fit on a 01?

Besides filling the EGR hole with a plug will everything from my 99 TA fit on my wife's 01Z? I want to swap intakes for a while to see if it's worth getting one or not. Thanks

good question of got a kinda of a hybrid question as well, I did up till now have a LS6 intake on an 00 car using the 00 coolant pipes (I just did a little dremelling).

My stroker is going in at the moment

I have an Ls6 Valley Cover and LS6 intake manifold (using 00 LS1 coolant pipes)

Does anyone know if the 01 coolant pipes #125648478 fit the LS6 Valley cover (is it the same as the 01 valley cover)

thanks

As mods go, the cost of an LS6 intake is "middle-of-the-road". It's not that major a financial investment. I don't think I've heard of any pre-2001 car, stock or otherwise, coming up with less than an 8-rwhp gain from the LS6 intake. If that's too little a gain for you on a $450 investment, then I'd say don't do the swap. The most I've heard of a head/cam/header car gaining from the intake is 26-rwhp. 8-rwhp is worth the work to me, especially since when you move forward to other mods that help your motor breath easier, you're all but guaranteed to see more gains from the intake at that time.

If you don't like it, you could get most of your money out of it by selling it to other folks... just a thought.

I'm sure it's worth getting one but I can swap with my wife's car for free! So I just wanted to know if I could do it without buying extra coolant pipes or plugs. Anyone?
