Let me know if this would help any of you out and I can make a few for people.
<strong>If you guys are having problems with leaks, I developed an adapter for the LS6 intake working with the engineer from the intake team at GM for advice. The main point was for a couple of older GM SEMA cars to use the LS6 adapter. I just CNC'd them from a billet of 6061-T6. The main change that I made was to still keep the required air buffer to thermally isolate the EGR tube, but add a step in the bore to positively seal the oring against the bottom of the bore. This really stopped the leaks all together.

How much will it cost me I'll need one for my LS6 intake that is on it's way? I was going to get the piece that Lingenfelter makes for the EGR that has a step in it.

Lingenfelter discontinued their much nicer EGR adapter about a year ago because the shop they were having machine it didn't want to make it anymore. I really wish they would bring it back, even machining it out of aluminum instead of plastic would be fine by me. Just paint it flat black and it would almost look factory once it's installed.
