You would have bent valves when you started up the motor Dave.
Do you have to give it gas on startup, like half-floored or more, and then it runs really crappy and rich?
Pushrods might be too long. Check lifter preload. What length pushrods are you running? I'm guesssing you should have 7.350's.

Car missfires like freaking crazy... but isnt setting a code for it.. the SES doest flash like it would if it had a plug wire off.. but man it sure feels like 4 are off..

HOWEVER.. ST Trims were -17 - -22 the car loads up like ad and wants to die.
The valvetrain is noisey as hell, Nick A said the new valvetrainer is lighter so it might be quieter.. <img src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" border="0">
i goin nuts here.. it will only idle on its own for about 2 mins and thats after you change the plugs...

What air induction do you have?
Use a MAF T to lean it out or something.
