Depends on the cam.

Many guys run a single spring with that cam.. I run a Crane Double Spring and the problem I ran into was diameter.. 1.46" seems to be too wide to use the stock rocker arms with at 1.8" install height. B4 I chose the spring I did a search on the diameter and I could not find anyone having a clearance issue.. So I had to find out for myself..
