Whats the point of 02 simulators
Is it really worth it to buy them?I saw an ad on rksport and said that they picked up 15hp and 25tq.Of course that was probably with the swap to the offroad setup.Anyway I was thinking about getting some but if all they do is turn off my ses light then I will just have to do the old dash trick.Might as well save 90 bucks.I saw that if you run with the off road setup then the computer will adjust your fuel trims. That sounds somewhat performance related to me.I have heard that these things really dont do that much except turn off your ses light. Thanks

Umm yeah, I'm thinking RK Sport forgot to add that they pulled the cats off! The SES light isn't hurting performance at all. It's just annoying. If you don't want to spend the cash on them, just clip the wires running to the SES light. I know quite a few that have done this.
I just put on Hooker long tubes and made my own offroad y pipe. I dont have the O2 simms either. The car is starting to idle rough and break up at low rpms. Someone said it was because I dont have the simms. Is this possible or do I have a different problem? The car is also running way rich now.
Thanks,
Mike
Thanks,

having an SES light on for missing REAR O2 sensors will not hamper performance at all. It will just give you a light as an emmisions check control. I've ran without them for quite a while and have had no problems at all as well as many many other people on this board.

Thanks!I'm not wasting my money on O2 simms. I just installed the Hypertech Power tuning(Hpp3) to help lean it out. I quit using it before because my car started detonating, but I figured now it would help me out and it actually made my ses light go out and I still have the rear o2's unplugged. The bad thing is that my car is still breaking up when I'm at low rpms. I'm gonna try new plug wires next.
Thanks again!
