Hooker catback is the ****!!!!!!! I just got it installed this morning, I was going to do it myself since it is real easy but i wanted it welded anyway so I figured I would have them do it. I sanded it and clear coated it like you all said, it looks great! I have Hooker LT's with a 3" off road y pipe with the new Hooker catback and it sounds f%^kin awesome <img src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" /> it has no rasp and has the coolest noise I have ever heard when it revs..... better than any cobra or mustang I have heard bye far! I recomend it o anyone. Thanks to Damian (Josh) and everyone else who "made" me get it <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> As for performance, I used to have my WS6 catback with a flowmaster welded in, it is way smoother and flows 100 times better up top. LOVE it thats all I can say <img src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

Re: Hooker catback is the ****!!!!!!! No I should have installed a cutout but I didn't have it at the time and was anxious to install it. It sounded CRAZY with no catback though, I imagine that is what I cutout sounds like?

I picked up 22rwhp/19rwtq with just a Hooker catback & whisper lid - though most all catbacks will offer similar gains...

Re: Hooker catback is the ****!!!!!!! congrats brendon I had a feeling you would like it, I really like mine as well the sound is very good and I switched from the LM to this cause the LM was getting louder and louder with each Mod and I need my car to be somewhat quiet.

Re: Hooker catback is the ****!!!!!!! I agree. I have not heard other LS1 cat-back systems but I do not see how they could sound any better. The Hooker is PERFECT with an ORP IMO so I am sure it would be good with headers also.
