It just started rattling last week, so a couple days ago, I took my exhaust apart, and I could hear something rattling around inside the muffler. What could have caused this? What would a good replacement be?

 

Sounds like one of the baffles broke loose. W/ the cost of the Corsa, I'd call them up and tell them to send you a new one.

YOU SHOULD HAVE CHECKED YOUR MUFFLER BEARINGS AND KEPT THEM WELL OILED!!!!!!! LOL Next time you will.... and keep a close eye on that blinker fluid!!! LOL

My corsa has been making a rattling noise since I got it. I called them up and they said its normal. Let me know if they replace yours.

 

Normal my ***, whenever I start off, like at a light or something, it sounds like ***!! They better replace it.. $650 exhaust systems don't sound like that my friend!! <img src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" border="0">

 

Is it possible that your cats are starting to fall apart? Kinda early for that though.

In all seriousness, they is a crock of ****! This is obviously an ongoing problem if more than one person has been reporting this. I believe I heard a guy at the track not to long ago mention the same thing about his Corsa. I would definately look into getting a replacement muffler.

 

I just replaced them about a month ago, so I don't think they are bad!! Also, I took off the muffler, and there was something loose inside, so I know that's where the problem lies!!!
