112 makes for a good drag racing cam.

good choice Tommy I'm going to have my cam ground on a 112 LSA for some NICE mid-range power that will work well with my Vig 3200.

I am curious as to what kind of numbers i will get with this new setup.... my present mods are:
Lid w/ filter
Borla catback
Mac headers w/ ORP
Rebuilt Tranny
Pro Torque 2900 (rebuilt to 3100 or so)
NX wet kit (150 shot)
Eiback pro kit

Being installed:
Possibly swapping my '98 ls1 for 2001 ls1 (C'mon Jason!!)

MMS stage I heads (2.02/1.56 milled .030)
C1 hammer cam
941 springs and retainers
New pushrods (7.40 or 7.35??)
Ls1 Edit

What can i expect?? Old numbers were 330/332...

What happened to the 3600 stall? 3,100 is really tight for that cam. I would personally want a converter flashing at 4,000 or so with that cam. I don't know where peak TQ is coming in with that cam, but I'd guess 4,300 or so. (anyone have a dyno graph?)
It's hard to say what you'll end up with. I don't know what MMS stage I heads are typically good for, but I'd guess somewhere around 390 RWHP or so. Just a side note, be sure to let the engine build plenty of heat before beating on it with the 941 springs. If not, they could be prone to snap.

Trevor-
When you say let it build plenty of heat, how long is that?? What temp?? also, on the converter, they warranty would only allow me to have the pro torque rebuilt and not replaced with something else.... and with the money i am spending on everything else i just dont have enough to buy a new converter!!! i wish i did... but maybe later on i will switch out to something bigger... but the shop that rebuilt the converter said they were able to get a couple of hundred more out of it... i do have a pretty loose converter though.. at the track i could usually hold the 2900 stall to around 3200-3400 at the track!! so we will see...
