Default Special thanks to JmX

Thanks for all of the "How To" pages on your site. I used them to install my LS6 intake, heads, cam, and new 2001 oil pump!

Also, on my other post you were right about the pushrod length

Thanks Again,

Scott

I also used his and Raughammers site when I did my H/C/I install. Thanks guys for going through the trouble to document these installs. it makes it much easier to do these thing ourselves when you have good documentation to work from.

geniusjester, if you've read through my directions and they dont make sense yet, they will when you get to the part you are asking about. The pickup tube is just held on by one bolt, and as long as you loosen all the oil pan bolts you'll have enough access to it. After that bolt is free, the tube just pops out and you can slide the oil pump off the crank.

sounds simple enough...im sure i can do it. oh yea..about the oil pan bolts. Do i remove all of them completely or just loosen them enough for the pan to drop down so i can access the tube? hehe..sorry for the questions, i just want the install to be a no brainer as much as possible

I've read over them a few times now, in preparation for my heads/cam/headers/intake coming up in june. Very thorough and informative! A+

I've used his pages a couple times as well. People don't realize sometimes how much work that is and I certainly for one appreciate all his work.
