Default picking the cam

I'm in the market for a Cam. I was looking at a few cams and would like your reccamendation. I will be having my s2 heads milled .40 (11.3:1 or 11.5:1, not sure yet) I also need to know what valve springs (i'm assuming double) and rockers as well. I dont mind shifting around 6800 either. I'm trying to get as close to 10's as i can with my m6, and not have driveabilty issues.

223/223 .588/.588 112

224/224 .281/.281 112 (CC XE-R)

G5

228/228 .585lift 112LSA XE-R

and the Thunder 224 112 lsa cam

i'm trying to stay away from any clearance issues. I think the heads are the 5.3's milled .40 for 11.3:1

I have the 5.3L heads milled 42 thousandths. You might want to pick the smaller cam. The big ones would be taking a chance.. I have the T1 and I am going to stay with it for now.. I have other issues that I am working out..

I know of an A4 that dynoed 403rwhp/390rwtq thru and UNLOCKED converter (TP4400) with heads similar to those with a 224/224 .563/.563//112
He was running 11:1 compression.

I would personally run the 228/228 .585lift 112LSA XE-R with a good double spring and lifter. BUT I would clay the heads and check your clearances first.
That cam with LS1edit tuning would ROCK IMO <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
