Oh boy.

I love how he asks the Supraforum for advice on what mods an LS1 should do next.

I’ve heard of LS1s (two on here actually) that gained 4mph trap speed from just a cam swap (no headers) with an ORY already in place. If the conditions on those runs were similar and race weight didn’t change, then 4mph is about a 40hp gain give or take a few. Granted, I don’t actually think you could pick up 40hp with just a cam swap on stock heads and stock manifolds, but I think 20 to 25 would be a reasonable estimate if you’ve got an ORY and good flowing catback/cutout already...

To get 390 RWHP, he'll need:
LS6 Intake
Cam
headers
asp pulleys
cutout(usually uncapped)/or equivalent free flowing exhaust
LS1Edit Dyno Tune

With all of that he MAY hit 390 RWHP.

How do you use a fuel pressure regulator on a returnless fuel system like the LS1?

You add a return line, or put an adjustable regulator in the back of the car. Since it doesn't need to be vacuum modulated its pretty easy actually.

the regulator blocks the return line adding pressure at the manifold, the adjuster screw can set the pressure anywhere from stock to 86 PSI on a stock pump... they are for sale on my site!

I went in there with only a lid and Chris hooked me up with a run if I try his product which was the AFPR, put it on, made a few passes and Bam! 336 to the rears. Only mods are the Mecham Lid and the AFPR... And as far as what I think I will get with a cam thats absolutly none of your business and obviously you have some sort of hatred or jealousy towards me if your that concerned with what I think.

I saw a 2002 Camaro SS (M6) dyno 330rwhp/350rwtq BONE STOCK at Speed Inc.
So, I guess 336rwhp certainly is feasable.
I just dont think 55rwhp with a cam alone is too feasable. Possible? Yes. But unlikely...

It was more of a number I just threw out there, saw it on the dyno on Thunders site and talked to the guy, he said its pretty much one of the most potent cams available... Verbs just has this problem with taking everything I say and blowing it out of proportion as you can see on here and various other sites. But oh well, Whatever makes the little kid happy I guess!

While we are on the topic, anyone else have any good comparisons between the T1 MTI cam, Thunder 224 and any other high rated cam ?

He will need more than a cam. I was able to squeeze 390rwhp with my below setup and no cutout or tricks..

Thats what it takes most people. But he thinks he can get 390rwhp without headers or tuning or any other bolt-ons other than a lid.

He also failed to mention he had on MAF ends during that dyno when his hit the mid 330rwhp area.

No MAF ends there, I hit 341 with MAF ends and couldnt finish the dyno because of detonation. Your wrong again, but then again it is my car so I guess I would know what is on and not on it.

This post is a waste of space on here so im done posting on it.

I happen to know of an 01 Formula w/ a Lid, GMAF, and open cut out that put 342 on Excessive's dyno here in houston during one of our dyno days. It DOES happen occasionally.
