Default WORLD CHALLENGE engine pics and info online!

I have posted assembly pics of my new 2002-spec World Challenge engine. Visit http://www.metricchemical.com/ and click on the Motorsports link on the bottom of the page, then click on the engine link about halfway down.

After a 5th place qualifying and 9th place finish at Sebring, we are desperate for financial help to run the rest of the season. Any support that you may give or point us towards will go a long way in keeping the C5 Racing heritage alive!

Thanks!

Dave

And I would like to take a moment to remind you that if it wasnt for the Corvette the Camaro would have died long ago and we certainly wouldnt have our LS1 engine.

I wont even go into the "no $$" comment..

How was my comment a Camaro vs. Corvette issue? He asked for financial help and the most appropriate site would be corvetteforum.com. I didn't say anything about not appreciating his buildup... so don't start BS that you have no basis for.

Hey Dave. I take it you are Dave Farmer.

I watched the Sebring race this weekend on SpeedVision. Awesome race. Porsche, Chevy, Audi, BMW, Dodge.

The incident at the beginning of the race was amazing. I got to relive it through the in car video from that race. http://www.metricchemical.com/mid.asf

Who was they guy in the f-body? I saw CAMARO on a silver Z. He had a decent starting position.

Take Care.

The Camaro was driven by Charles Wicht of Big Pine Key FL. Honestly, the car had big power, but was down on handling. I used to run a Camaro in this series, and the lack of independent rear suspension and good aero kit (especially in the front) makes it hard to run on fast in the corners.

I posted the message to give access to the engine pics, not to beg for money. Most people never get to see such details of a real LS1/LS6 in pieces.

The pics of the engine are helpful. The lifter valley of the LS6 looks much like the C5R, smooth.

Are you running stock displacement?

Thanks.

yes, stock displacement is required in World Challenge. The block pictured is totally stock, but with aftermarket pistons and rods.
