Most guys are able to manually get the idle to around 800 RPM. I would think that it should be pretty good there. What is the LSAon your cam - is it 114 ?

Getting cam installed today....T1
Any issues I should be aware of? I should be picking up my car today. Decided to go with a T1 instead of a B1 almost went with the C1. My car is an A4 with a vig2800, 3:73, lid, portedMAF, TB by pass, hollowed out cats, cutout, flows, also getting the PCM tuned. Anything I should be aware of so I can ask when I pick up my car. Getting it done at MTI, also any numbers was hitting 12.8s and 12.9s.

Re: Getting cam installed today....T1
I just installed one on my cousin's 00' WS6 a couple of weeks ago and it sounds really good. The only mods he has are an aftermarket air lid, mac headers, and a borla exhaust with no plate. It is really loud with that and pulls really hard. He has a cutout on it but we have had it capped off so far, it may be TOO loud
He has been driving it around for about 2 weeks without tuning and his only problem is that it wants to idle at around 500rpm so he has to brake/gas with 2 feet to keep it going at a stop. This is only when the car is cold though. Once warmed up it is good.
We are going to get it tuned tommorrow after I install a 160Stat for him in the morning. We are already both impressed with the cam, and we have yet a day to tune it! I'm sure you'll love it!

I'm glad to hear that you like it! The T1 will work well with your converter and gearing. The mid-range power will make it nice. Let us know how it does the next time at the track.

Re: Getting cam installed today....T1
Good talking with you today at MTI.
Let us know what you think when you REALLY turn the T1 loose when you get the exhaust freed up with the new headers.
BTW...Once those springs have been heat cycled a few times, you'll be ready to give it hell. The roller cam doesn't need any break-in.
Scott.

If so, they will be able to eliminate the misfire issue and stabilize the idle then. When I got my tuning done, I gained 20rwhp (but also added the LS6 intake). If you have EGR...nows the time to eliminate it...and the rear O2's.
