Re: How Much Is The MTI 422 c.i. Package for a C5? I highly recommend that you call them and get a quote. Their package price is for a bone-stock C5 that needs headers, catback, intake, etc. etc. If you have a C5 with all of the bolt-ons, it's going to be cheaper. (281)870-8787

LS1 vs LS6 heads are worth about 10-15 rwhp more on a 422ci setup.

I am not shopping for a C5 at the moment, but a new C5 or new C6 will most likely be my next car purchase.
After breaking it in for around 3000 miles and getting stock track and dyno numbers, my plan is to have MTI do the 422 c.i. conversion.
In my opinion, this is the best bang for the buck option for having the quintissential street car versus purchasing a new Z06, Porsche, or Viper (although the latter 3 cars aren't so shabby themselves <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> ).
Having a car that runs 10.9's at 130 mph is absolutely phenomenal in my book, especially when you can have it all for $60,000 ($40,000 for a 6-speed coupe + $20,000 for the 422 c.i. conversion).

Any ole POS can run that quick, but having a supercar like the C5 running that fast is all the better <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
