Surely you don't think that a dealer is going to work on your car when you pull in with a set of longtubes, true dual exhaust, aluminum flywheel, carbon fiber BS, pullies, all the free mods, ported or aftermarket TB, lid, catback/cutout, and I could keep this list going. After all, you did say "every mod in the book". You are terribly mistaken if you think a GM rep is going to approve work on your car with those type of mods.

Why Not? I had my Tranny rebuilt, And my Carrier/posi replace twice under warrentee with my current mods! Also the DEALER installed the RAM clutch and the 4.10 gears FREE while doing OTHER warrentee work in that same area! And NO i dont work there or am I best freinds with anone there!! They have dont the same for SEVERAL people in my area!

Just kinda wanted to add my 2 cents to the deal... First off... If you have a aftermarket cam in your car stock or not you can tell its in there. That part isn't hard. It will void your warrenty on just about everything in your car engine wise...(being in the center of everything) I believe anything is possible with these engines and if 380-390 is what he or she wants then there is a way to do it without going into the engine just need the right tuner to do it period. Granted Cam+heads and who have you are the easiest most known way to do it... Its just not for everybody...

Here is my take on the deal.......I think you could get pretty close. Case in point.....

2k2Ls1 off this board has a 2002 Z28. Mods include: Dynotech headers, dual 3inch exhaust(CMarsh built), CMarsh ported TB, CMarsh ported Maf, Lid, and I tuned it with Ls1 Edit. Straight off the street, we pulled it onto the dyno with FULL BELTS, NO PULLEYS, no tricks.....17 inch nittos on SS rims. Result......368rwhp and 380 torque. Now.....he drives around alot with a shortbelt, which we have tested to gain 10 hp on his car(to the wheels). We didn't expect to be dynoing it that day, so we didn't have it with us...or else we would have some 380rwhp dyno numbers Its not a dyno queen either, with a STOCK slipping clutch, it ran 12.2 @ 117.x mph @ 3500 pounds. That was making ~ 365rwhp....before I tuned it some more
