Default stock rockers w/ after market???

yea ok i had a little problem about 2 weeks ago...i have yella terra 1.7 rocker arms in my car...well i had 1 of the rockers port hole(where the push rod goes) break ...yea i had a bad knock...well i did some hunting around and a guy who builds Ltx and some LSx helped me find stock rockers and the guide plate for them...i needed 2 so he cut the plate for them....my question is what do u guys think about street racing in this???....i mean ive gotten it to 4+ (4100-4200)...and no problems but kinda scared to take it on into the 6 range....in put on this would make me feel better..BTW i havent had any problems with them yet...i solved the knock

If they are the same ratio, then you should probably be ok. I wouldn't mix crucial parts though. My guess would be you will break the stockers first. That is what you have to lose. And something could make it's way into the bottom end an ruin your day.
