Stock LS1 Valves and Stock LS6 Springs. The Stock LS1 Valves will work. That's what I mean

Do I need to use the 02' LS6 valves with this cam and springs? Or will my 99' LS1 valves work?
Pete

The stock valves will work, you dont need ls6 valves but you will only be able to spin to stock 6200 limit with Ls1 valves and 2002 valve springs, and you will either have to lengthen pushrods or use lash caps to offset smaller ls6 base circle. I d ont like when people answer you by trying to change your mind.No reply is better than discouraging opinionated answer.
2002 LS6
204/218 .551/.547 CL:120/115 LSA:117.5 Base Circle: 19.0mm (-0.0276")
I'd be glad to tell you how much longer pushrods are needed but no one can confirm it for me
John Juriga from GM suggested not using this little preload with LS6 cam but lots of us are doing it and its supposed to help prevent hydraulic pump up at hi rpm. just FYI

Is that what you are saying and still running LS1 stock lenght push rods?
