Default 01' LS6 cam question

Ok, I cant use the 02' LS6 cam safely using my stock valves.

What do I need to change to run the 01' safely?

Thanks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

There is a lot of misinformation going on with the 02 LS6 cam. You can definitely use stock valves with it...You just need stronger springs than the 02 springs. Comp 918s will work great. You could use slighly longer pushrods. 7.400 will be fine.

So, can I use an 01' LS6 cam with my stock 99' LS1 valves?

I need to know <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Buy the COMP Springs!

Sorry that wasn't very clear, people trying to bite my head off about that.
