head stud washers? Chamfers up or down?

Like the title says, do the chamfers in the washers go up or down when installing them? Or does it even matter?

If your speaking of a chamfer on the inside diameter, it goes up. It is there to clear the radius from the bolt head to shank.

i would say as long as you do them all the same way your good to go but if you have not done them already then go for up
