A friend of mine put his G5 on a cam doctor, and the results were
224 230 .580 .570 112ls. The intake lobe is pretty aggressive, and the exhaust lobe is less aggressive.

The duration sounds right...matches the cam card that comes with them. The lift I'd heard was a little higher, but cam doctors dont lie.
I'm suprised nobody has used a digital caliper on the lobes before now anyways. I measure all my cams now to verify the proper lift.

That is all I know. Of course if it comes with a cam card then that is probably at least as accurate. I'm surprised no one posted the specs if they came with cam cards, lol.

We were supplied with a vague cam card with partial info, but we were asked by Lou not to disclose any of that info, so on that note, all the purchasers stayed quiet to respect his wishes.

U just always have to go and spoil someone elses fun. It seems like you lerk in all the threads and wait for someone to say something just so u can start ****. Everyone knows Lou wanted some time without the specs posted. If HE was ready he would have posted them. There are several posts up now about the cam. He is still tweaking tuning and such. Point is you start way to much crap. I'm not siding with JS or ANYONE. I mind my own damm business. I rarely post like this, and I may not even be a big fan of the cam myself yet, but that's no reason for you to decide Lou's time is done.

The Thunder Racing cam is 230 Intake duration / 224 Exhaust duration. The LSA is 111 degrees.
The G5 cam specs posted are 224 Intake duration / 230 Exhaust duration. The LSA is 112 degrees.
These cams have almost nothing in common except the fact that they both fit in LS1 engines.
