That is some serious power to be driving around everday! And it doesn't even peak too high ( 6200rpms? ).

Crazyquik, the most I ever made on nitrous with the heads/cam was 535 rwhp. But that was also on race gas, and my Mcleod clutch at the time couldn't hold the power so I never got to run it with that much power.

That was back when I ran 11.1 @ 130 mph on drag radials, at around 515 rwhp on the nitrous. As you know though, a nitrous HP peak is almost all the way across, so it should mph higher on gas than an all-motor setup with the same HP peak. My car also didn't have a cage or 12-bolt back then, so it was lighter. I'll shoot for 130 mph trap speeds by fall.

JSears, looks like my peak is only around 6000 rpm LOL! I'm either intake or exhaust restricted I'm guessing. Probably both! haha. Kind of funny seeing over 500 rwhp at a measly 5200 rpm

MarkZ71, I sold my old 382ci setup back in February. It had a whopping 2K miles on it

You can bet I'll get some track times. I'll most likely drive the car to work daily next week (50 miles a day) for some break-in and maybe haul her to HRP on the weekend. Should be interesting, too bad its like 96F here now

Very, very nice numbers! Looks like you have 20 RWHP on me through exhaust and 30 RWHP through cutouts. I would put about 15 of that on your bigger cam and probably the other 15 on the extra cubes. I'm very pleased that your motor did that well with the extra cubes there.

BTW, did you see my car while you were there today? Hopefully the O2 thing gets down shortly, then it's cage and track. But you have now upped the level here. I might have to do a *blown* or twin-turbo 434 CI setup next year just to keep up the way things are going

That's awesome, Tony. Love that torque curve - it spends about half the rpm range over 450 ft-lbs! I bet it'll be a blast on the street with 4.10's

I was wondering when your POS would roll out of MTI. Those are some INSANE #'s through an SLP dual/dual! I bet it's incredibly quiet with that catback; there's nothing like a sleeper. I'd be really interested to see how much power it would make if you dropped the y-pipe. How's the idle with the S1, and what's your idle set at? Your setup is making wicked power all over the place! You hit my peak horsepower at 4,000 RPM. LOL! Congrats to you and the MTI crew for yet another kickass super stroker. Now get the bastard to the track w/ some 28" slicks, and sidestep the clutch!

That poor clutch!!!

Man, that is outrageous. Fan-freaking-tastic!!!

Now throw a solid roller, custom intake, and C5R heads at it to see how close you can get to 700rwhp without N2O.

Congratulations

John

Great numbers, Tony. MTI is out on top, once AGAIN! I'm very impressed. You'll be haulin' ***!

Now, I wonder when The "Burger" is gonna tell you how MMS put down those #'s with an air lid and cutout in street trim on the top of the Rocky Mountains

Default Re: MTI 434ci Dyno Results! 498 rwhp.....

compression ratio is 11.5:1

I told MTI that I still wanted to drive it on the street with 93 Octane pump gas only. $4.25/gallon race fuel could make me hate a car.

Fulton1, with this much torque and the 4.10 gears, lets just say my current F1 Goodyears are worthless until 4th gear. I stabbed the throttle in 3rd gear on the freeway today and they lit up. Makes for a fun ride though!

Trevor, I have the idle set at 950 rpm and it sounds alot like a 346ci/T1 combo thru that ultra-quiet SLP muffler. Maybe I can still use the "hotcam" line to get some races

BOS, if the T56 can't handle my abuse, I have a spare on standby. If that can't handle it, then surely a TH350/transbrake setup can

Huge Congrats from me!

Can't wait for the results. I need another time of yours to shoot for.

I KNEW it was going to be killer. Now throw a little more intake duration at it.

Lordy what would something like that do in my car? One day, One day!

Enjoy!!!
