MTI 434ci Dyno Results! 498 rwhp.....
498 rwhp..... THRU THE SLP MUFFLER! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
524.7 rwhp & 514.9 ft-lbs with the dual 2.5" cutouts open <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
<img src="https://ls1tech.com/dynojet/MTI434LS6.jpg" alt=" - " />
I'm still in shock that it pulled nearly 500 rwhp thru the SLP dual-dual and tiny 2.5" FLP Y-pipe. The car is soooo quiet with this exhaust setup. This is with all the accesories turning, no shortbelt, pushing a Moser 12-bolt with 4.10 gears, huge Denny's NR steel driveshaft, and 17x9 WS6 wheels/tires. Exactly as it is on the street, running 93 Octane! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
Details:
MTI 434ci Stroker (4.155" resleeved block, 4.00" forged crank)
MTI Stage 3 LS6 heads (I=2.08" E=1.60")
MTI "S1" hydraulic cam (244/244 .612/.612 112)
FLP headers and Y-pipe w/ dual 2.5" cutouts
SLP dual-dual catback
SVO 30# injectors
Racetronix "Plug-N-Play" intank fuel pump (worked/installed great!!)
I plan on adding some welded Dynatech stepped 1-7/8" headers and a custom 3" Y-pipe shortly. We also didn't have time to do any dyno tuning, just stuck some generic numbers in there (28 degrees timing, sized for injectors, etc..) and I was still getting 3 degrees KR (false). I'll also try adding some race gas next time, putting on the shortbelt (or electric waterpump?) and my KO-Box.
As you can tell, I'M STROKED & STOKED!
<img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> MTI
Special thanks to Mike for working hard to put this sucker together in a week. Robert, you make some AWESOME heads bud, I know you will love the results when you see them Monday. Jayson, lets go get an ET now <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

John, SW's 422ci pulled 549 rwhp with the solid roller cam. I believe this is the highest dynoing hydraulic super-stroker out there right now <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
You would be amazed at how quiet this car is and how well it drives. I'm in shock.

Actually, I might be wrong. Larry Cato's (PaiN) MTI 422ci pulled 530 rwhp with the same cam and heads. He did so with a locked converter and with open Dynatech stepped headers.
Maybe I'll have to open her up <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I love these big motors!!!!!!! BUT I have the Million dollar question!!!! How much did it cost you to have this built??? I want one but I know the price is probably going to make me sick to my stomach. How much does it cost to have a block resleeved??

Pricing will vary depending on what options you decide to go with. If you would like a quote, email Jayson at JaysonMTI@aol.com and let him know what you are looking for.
RWB, correct, SVO 30# injectors. The same injectors that all three 9-second MTI Corvettes are using. When I go with a nitrous kit, I'll just add more fuel with the wet kit anyways.
PS, 30# is rated at Ford's lower psi, its actually higher at our LS1 fuel pressure.

Badass numbers Tony!! I saw it at MTI Thurday right after Mike finished getting everything together. It sounded NICE! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
When are you headed to HRP? I'll come take some videos for ya if I can make it out.

Thats about how much rwhp you made when you sprayed on the heads and cam wasn't it? Awesome results, is awesome even a good enough word? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />
