Does anyone here happen to have a price on an assembled 4xx or 382 short block? Iron or Re-sleeved?I am trying to get a quote from ARE, but that is long in coming. E-mail me if privacy is an issue. I have X amount of cash to play with, just seeing what I can afford.

Thanks,
John

Here's my upcomming setup that should be done in a couple months sans supercharger:

1) Shooting for a 391-396ci at the moment with a
4.1-4.125 bore and a 3.71 offset ground stock
crank. Waiting on finalized numbers from
machine shop. Hoping to get a 3.9-4.0 crank
down the road (then 409-427ci).

2) Dyno's will be on pump 91 octane through M6,
4.11 geared ford 9in.

3) n/a

4) 237-242 .592 .605 114lsa (Cam Motion
Street/Strip Blower recomendation)

5) Stage 2 almost 3...5.3L Truck heads. 2.05
intake 1.60 exhaust. (No flow numbers yet)
Going with dished piston and a lil thicker
gasket to bring compression down to 9-9.5:1

6) Gonna be low with the blower.

7) n/a

8) n/a

9) Not shooting for anything great NA cause the
motor's gonna be built with a Vortech t or ys-
trim in mind. Gunning for 600+rwhp on under
10psi on 91 octane and gonna try my best to
make use of it. In the meantime I'll spray
100-150 wet at it until I save enough to do
the vortech.

Should be a monster. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />
