Mike - Damn, he's gotten serious with the car! I still think he should let me make a pass in it for old times sake. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Are you going to get to make a N2O pass in it? What's it tipping the scales at now? What kind of ET is expected N/A and with the nitrous once the "new" setup is done?

It is a BLAST now.. I just couldn't stand the A4 anymore.. (TM, Shift Points, DRIVETRAIN LOSS) I wanted my power back and I found it.. It was lost in a T56 somewhere..

Vince, I'd guess that MTI has built about 10 all-bore setups by now. All 382ci, but with varying cams and/or LS1/LS6 heads. Some of the owners also prefer stock exhaust (yes, manifolds and all) while some go all-out.
Probably not enough solid data that compares to give you an "average".
I'd expect at least 440 rwhp with LS1 heads and a decent cam. Probably closer to 460+ minimum with LS6 heads.
Anthony, when you grenade that rearend, slap a 12-bolt in it. Then get some slicks, you won't regret it! We can convert you to a track ***** if you ever feel an M6 launch hard. Its addicting

I'll tell ya'll what's been keeping me up at night... the idea of an all-bore 392 (4.155" bore, stock crank). Add in a good set of rods, some worked 6.0L heads and a set of mildly dished pistons and bring the boost, baby!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Methinks that'd be one SERIOUSLY stout ride. Hell, if ATI is pulling 500+ RWHP out of relatively stock LS1's, I figure 600 RWHP is a pretty realistic goal for that 392.
But then again, I ate a lot of paint chips when I was a kid, so draw your own conclusions... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Miles, MTI uses custom billet rods on the all-bores now. My old motor was the only one ever built with the stock rods since it was experimental at the time.
Go ahead and add about $850 in parts for those.
