Titanium Retainers Vs stock with 918 CC springs????

Default Titanium Retainers Vs stock with 918 CC springs????

i am going to run a T1 cam with 918 springs, it says i could use my stock Retainers but will i have any problems with this set up ???????do i need the Titanium Retainers ??? has any one had problems with the stock retainers and the 918 springs??

The main benefit of a Ti retainer is weight savings. Allows you to rev higher before you get valve float.

I use stock retainers with 918's on TR224/112 cam. I don't think Ti retainers are needed if you don't rev over 6800.
