As owner of this setup.......I know whats in it I swore to Julio this information would not be released. He did lots of research, homework, and burning of the midnight oil to get those results.
Now its up to me to get some respectable times with it.

I deleted my post above. The more I thought about this, the more I think I jumped the gun. I understand not disclosing specs until the #'s are run. Good luck with the setup, guys.

Thats a big window.. The car still makes incredible power. Sorry I didn't believe it b4. I put more thought into it and looked back at others results and yes it is a stout setup.. I compared it to Chris 98 SS from Thunder Racing. GTP heads, TR224 cam, 12 bolt with 4.10's, 17 inch wheels and the regular bolt ons with no dyno tricks.. Chris put down 443rwhp/421rwtq.. Also on a 346ci with a untouched bottom end.. Also DarthVetter put down I think 448rwhp as well.. So Carteks #'s are right up there with some pretty stout competition..

Am I missing something here? Why do you have 2 different RWHP numbers at the same RPM? Were these 2 different pulls?

461 rwhp @6200 3.42 gears
412 rwt @4800 3.42 gears
451 rwhp @6200 4.10 gears
I made 3 first tiem pulls with this new combo yesterday before I got kicked out. It ran 11.80 @ 122 with shitty 2.0 ...60ft times. The DA was 1800 feet and temps were in the mid 70's. I need mroe seat time with this car to run better and some et streets.

Re: CARTEK "Z" package makes 458 RWHP and 408 RWTQ.
Here is some information I can provide.
It's a stock and untouched bottom end 346 CID, it has a hydraulic roller cam with less than 230 duration, Z06 intake (no "R" heads), cold air package, TPIS headers, Borla exhaust, UD pulley.

Considering the light weight hardtop and 4.10 gears shouldn't your MPH be much higher? My C5 used to run mid 119mph in 2000da weather with only 400rwhp (MMS stage 1 heads/cam) and 3.42s.

Terry he is still running about 3 mph faster then your old C5, and it sounds like he was getting very good traction which could possibly be affecting his mph. 122 mph ain't nothing to sneeze at with a head/cam combo.

Re: CARTEK "Z" package makes 458 RWHP and 408 RWTQ.
Thanks JS and Leo for support.
Terry I am sure you didnt run fantastic times the first time you ran a new package. I know guys that have little less hp then me that were running 11.6-11.80 when they first ran their package. Today with more seat time they are running 11.00-11.1 @125 with 60ft times 1.5 with et streets and 1.57 with drag radials.
Terry I have heard all about you and Im not going to get into a pissing contest with you.
HAVE A NICE DAY

Re: CARTEK "Z" package makes 458 RWHP and 408 RWTQ.
You arent overgeared with the 4.10 and 25.5 inch tire at all. You could actually run a 4.30 gear or higher if you wanted too with that 7200rpm rev limit 4.30 gears and a 26 inch slick would probably be ideal.
Cheers,
Chris
ps- Good mph in that weather BTW

Re: CARTEK "Z" package makes 458 RWHP and 408 RWTQ.
I cant believe people are ******* this customer of Cartek.. The #'s are awesome. He might not be the best driver, but his car has the potential. I was at one of the Vette/Viper/F-body shootouts and one of Lingenfelters TT was there.. The driver sucked.. Motor Trend was able to run low 11's on street tires all day in this car. The cars top speed was 226mph. The car is on Lingenfelters website and is owned by a guy here in Florida.. The owner of the car could not get into the 11's.. He was running 12's all day at 125mph plus. I think he made one run at 130mph and still ran a 12.2. I watched the guy shift into 4th and the rearend broke loose on that pass.. My point is.. Cartek builds the car with the potential to run crazy times. The owner has to be able to get it there.. Not saying that the guy who owns the car sucks when it comes to Drag Racing, but give him time to learn the car. He just rec'd over 100rwhp increase and that takes some time to learn how to control.. I personally suck at the track, but on the street.. BooohoooHaaahahahaWahhh...
