Default Ok, I need to pick soon. Cam help/recommendation plz

I’m adding a set of ARE stage 1 heads(2.02/1.57, milled .040” with the MMS valvesprings), custom headers (comparable to FLP’s or Grots), LS6 intake, ported TB, underdrive pulley, and LS1Edit. This is going in an M6, and it’s my daily driver (school/work). I was thinking of something like a 227/227 .56x/.56x cam with a lobe separation of 111 or so. I know the 111 lsa will cause the idle to deteriorate some, but I’m thinking in an M6 it should idle decent. I remember Jason99T/A saying the 230/224 on the 111 lsa idled fine. I was hoping that by keeping the lsa lower, I could bring my power peak down in the rpm’s some, so I don’t have to rev it *too* high and help out lowend torque. Do you think maybe a small extra emphasis on the exhaust lobes would help much, with the nitrous and such? I don’t do a lot of spraying (75-100hp not very frequently, that's about it), so I’m not really building to that, more street car, but if it’s like ‘free hp’ then I’ll take it.

I would consider a 230/230 on 111LSA Either TR or XE-R
will work great on nitrous and motor. Need Ls1 edit tuning though most likely.
Should make great power!

Hahaha. Starting to get "big" now. I'll keep it in mind. I'm currently waiting to hear back from geoff@TR, I emailed him the same thing. I'm planning on using TR to make the cam.

Anymore ideas?

That's a LOT of cam for a daily driver.

Mileage is gonna suffer, as is low-end stop-n-go traffic performance.

It's harder on an engine to have that much lope. It's one thing for a weekend warrior to be bouncing all over at idle, but it gets unnerving in a daily driver.

That clutch ain't gonna make it very long w/ that much cam, either. You'll haveta dump her way high to launch it effectively and the Z06 clutch is a weak sister.

Chris let him stick to a proven cam.. No one will know what the 230/230 does until YOU try it..

I think I've already seen it slip a tad recently on the juice. I already have plans to replace it, but the longer it lasts the better.

And yes, I would like a nice idle. But I know it'll have some lope to it. I saw there's a 224/227 n2o cam on thunder's site, might do that.
