The valve just wasnt opening to its full capacity... I think or I could be wrong

Bent pushrod!!How much performance did I lose? I have seen guys with my same mods runnin 12.teens and the best I could get was 12.68@106
I have 4" Mufflex, MACs with ORP, PI3200, 3.73's, and the cars raceweight is 3599 with me in it.
The rod was bent bad enuff that it was hittin the head <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
You think she's got a low 12 in her?

i know when i broke a pushrod in half my car was running like crap so yeah you prolly lost a significant amount...

I figured since I have it tore down I might as well do a cam swap. Thunder racing has an excellent cam swap package.
I just didnt want to go to the track and ACCIDENTALLY bust out an 11.99999 and think that it was just the cam <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: Bent pushrod!!How much performance did I lose? Thanx Mike. Yeah I figure that if I can run a 12.7 on 7 cylinders than an 11.999 should be reachable on all 8 and a Thunder cam.

Re: Bent pushrod!!How much performance did I lose? My mph didnt change when I replaced my bent pushrods. Maybe it depends how badly it was bent. I had one that was fairly bad, and a few you had to roll on glass to detect.
