Default injectors with cam

im thinking about installing a cam thats right at .600 lift and i was wondering if my stock injectors on my 99 ls1 camaro would do the job or if i needed some 30lbs or what. (its going to be a cam only car with basic bolt-ons). help out if you can. thanks, brad.

if you got the cash, get the injectors. you'll be right around 100% duty cycle on the 26lb stockers.

good luck

I've been using 98 ls1 28lb injectors for 50k+ miles with no issues. 229/229 .578 112 - max power car ever made was 450rwh at 6800ish. You can usually get em pretty cheap on ebay or the forums here. If anything you can save some money that way.

might as well throw the pump in there too... it's not too much money for the peace of mind that you'll get. i think the stocker maxes out around 400 rwhp... maybe a bit more.
better safe than sorry!!!

good luck

Get the racetronix fuel pump boost kit...it it a simple hook up and will boost the pump voltage when you get on it...easy fix at your level until you have money to buy 42lb. injectors to grow into later...why waste the money on a simple upgrade to 30lb....you will max their duty cycle eventually just like you did the stockers...why spend the cash when you will be going beyond them soon enough...
