Default Got the TR224!

After talking for quite a while with Paul@TR we decided the TR224 would be best suited for myself vs. the TR230 rev. split. I can't wait to get it in!

I'll keep you all updated on the progress!

Dude, I just got mine in. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

You better open up the top end cause it pulls liked a scalded dog from 3200 to 6500.

Good luck, Stu

Great news Levi! Your really going to enjoy it! When you get it on the WB/dyno, you will notice this cams characteristic is that it really pays out in the power dept to run it a little leaner on the top then usual, 13.3 from 5,200 on up. Just like every package, tunning IS everything.
Good Luck!
Joe.

<EDIT> sorry, I just noticed your running NOS too so watch that "run it a little leaner" comment I made.

JPR,
Thanks for the tip. What AFR do you usually see as best in the upper RPM's? Where does the cam's peak torque come into play b/c I know I need to richen up the PE vs RPM at peak torque.

JPR,
any other tuning tips on this cam? I have the same cam and I am about ready to do the install and wideband tuning with ls1 edit. Would it be too much to ask for a .ls1 edit file on this cam to get a baseline of where I should head?
Thanks

NastyC5,
Looks like you made a good choice in cams <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> Good luck in your install. When do you plan on doing it?

JPR, what range of drill bit sizes should we use to get our IAC count in the low 40's to high 30's? Which should we start with and work our way up with?

Your help is GREATLY appreciated! Have you worked out a coilpack relocation for the C5 yet b/c I LOVE your valve covers <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
