Default need oil pump help!

hey guys im putting my LS1 back together now and need to know if there is a gasket or something that goes on the back of the oil pump-to- block surface? nothing came off with the old pump but im just making sure. thx!

I didnt use any gaskets...mine was a stock LS6 pump.

Nope. Only thing you should have to worry about is the O-ring that goes on the pickup tube to the oil pump. Make sure you get it in there just right and dont pinch it or you'll have oil pressure issues.

no gasket to block. The only thing you need are the 4 bolts and a new oil pump oring.

where to get a new O-ring? new pump didnt come wih one,old one broke getting it out.

Best bet is to go to the dealer. Its only about 3 or 4 dollars.
