I posted this earlier , I hate to sound pesimistic but : you might want to take your car to Elite motorsports to have it dynoed , MTI has been known for editing there dyno graphs. They will deny it but MTI and Elite had a dyno day at the same time a while back and guys were making close to 20 rwhp MORE ON mti'S DYNO . The jap dyno at the import shops were right on with Elite's . Many people were upset but I know MTI try s to keep there customers happy . just a heads up
Regards

The only Elite my car would ever go to is the original Elite Motorsports in Austin.
Care to give any examples of edited MTI dynos? Most of what you here around here is people dynoing lower on MTIs dyno. Remember that most of the tech guys on this site don't get there car dyno tested to say my car made xxx hp, they dyno after mods and to tune there car and to see what power level they are at and to make sure everything is how it should be. The whole point is to use the same dyno so you can see how your car is progressing.
The bragging rights come after 1320 feet not at the dyno.

UltraRedZ,

A very bold statement my friend, but total

I've been there when MTI has dynoed my car several times and the numbers are true and correct, no editing or corrections.

Would you care to back up that remark with any type of tangible evidence? If so, I'd love to see it.

A whopping 2 posts and you come up with this? Hmmm, I smell jackass on the grill.

HP is a function of torque.

Justin, hey, dude. That HP curve is darn close to completely flat from 5800 to the 6600-RPM rev limiter. I bet you could safely shift that thing at like 6800 or 6900 even. Thought about bumping up the rev limiter?

Wow! I wonder what my 226/226 .584 .584 112 XE-R would do with stock heads

MTI's dyno has always been right on for me. I dynoed 2 RWHP less on MTI's dyno vs. the local dynojet that was in Lubbock when I still lived there. MTI's dyno also showed 5 RWHP less with my SS after the header swap vs. FASTech's dyno. Next time I take the car to Houston I'll be sure to stop in at MTI so I can hit 430 RWHP with stock heads.
