Default Paging Coach02Z28...re compression ratio

Now that you've had the hotrod for a while...how is it driving with ~12:1 compression? Are you able to use pump gas?

Thanks

Fireball, Thanks for asking.

The Hot Rod is just plain and simple Bad ***!

I can run 93 octane in her on the street. I do however keep a couple of gallons of 104 racing fuel in her just to be safe.

Now, I do not drive very hard on the street. If someone pulls up to me at a light and they want to run. I just smile real big and wave as I drive off in a resonable matter.

This car is a Race car that you can drive on the street. Not a street car that I race at the track.

It is so sweet to have a Hot Rod that runs 11.30's in the 1/4 mile with 60 fts. from 1.54 to 1.57 and gets 24 mpg to a gallon on a 512 mile road trip to Oklahoma with no problems.

Now when I go back to Thunder Racing at the End of June for more tuning, Look out 10's in the Summer Heat will be mine.

I liked the quote as well. For compression like yours, I wonder if the reverse flow water pump would be a good investment.
