Bent pushrods. . . when I first owned the car four years ago. Crate engine, clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, and rear pinion seal all replaced under warranty knock on wood.

Appeared to be detonation that killed my pistons. My rocker arms were hitting my retainers and the only thing we could come up with was the valves got hung open in the process and took out several pistons secondary to detonation. I had to replace 8 intake valves because they were tweaked from hitting the pistons and I had a balanced and blue printed forged 346ci shortblock built with valve reliefs this time around.

First motor was H,c + nitrous, I spun a bearing a few months after putting it together.
Second motor was Westech, and it had issues and broke a timing chain not sure why.

Pretty sure it started from a rod bolt letting go. Within a fraction of a second, the whole rotating assembly ate itself and left through various holes in the block :-/
Another theory was that a piston disintegrated for one reason or another and caused the mayhem. Im not sure, since all I have are crumbs of aluminum :-/
Saving my pennies for a MTI 393 all bore.
