its the angle between adjacent intake and exhuast lobes...the smaller the angle...the lower the power peak in rpm and the rougher the idle

ok now, is there any relationship between the LSA and bottom/top end?? what exactly is the advantage of having lower LSA?

The lower LSA can keep the power band down in a more usable range if you want a big cam but don't want to spin the **** out of your motor or run a 5000 stall converter. Draw backs of a lower LSA include a potentially worse idle and increased emissions.
