Re: Whats LSA in a cam spec mean. its the angle between adjacent intake and exhuast lobes...the smaller the angle...the lower the power peak in rpm and the rougher the idle

Re: Whats LSA in a cam spec mean. ok now, is there any relationship between the LSA and bottom/top end?? what exactly is the advantage of having lower LSA?

Re: Whats LSA in a cam spec mean. The lower LSA can keep the power band down in a more usable range if you want a big cam but don't want to spin the **** out of your motor or run a 5000 stall converter. Draw backs of a lower LSA include a potentially worse idle and increased emissions.
