Default What is the PN# for K&N long Oil Filter?

I'm looking to get one of the longer K&N Oil filters. Hopefully you guys will be able to help me with the PN for the long filter.

TIA

It's the HP2006, however there is also that little nut on the end of these filters, so I would not recommend using the long K&N filter, as that nut sits a bit too low. You're better off with the Mobil 1 M1-206 filter (which is a better filter than the K&N anyways, and at the same price)

Even though the Mobil 1 is made in the same plant as the K&N they do have different specs. The Mobil 1 filters down to about 10 microns, while the K&N is at 15. Also, the Mobil 1 has about a 95 to 96% efficiency rating on the multipass test, versus 90% for the K&N.

But honestly, you can't go wrong even with the stock AC Delco filters, oil analysis results show that these OEM filters do a great job. Most of the dirt gets stopped by your air filter anyways, and if you use a good oil you won't have much in the way of wear materials floating in the oil either. Many people have gone hundreds of thousands of miles using regular AC Delco filters in many different cars.
