plze confirm this head casting number can some one confirm that casting #241 is a stock '01(z28) head. cuz the truck heads( or at least i was told they were truck heads) had the same number on them. wtf.

Re: plze confirm this head casting number They are the 00+ 5.7 head with the new (smooth casting) from GM. If you look on the outside of the head, on the underneath side of the runners you'll see a 5.7 casted on one of them.
