Default Need shim info for springs and rocker shaft...

I need some .030 shims to compensate for my valves being recessed-- Do you know where to look for these, and what specific sizes I'll need? Is there anything special I need to know about raising the rocker shaft up?
I'm using comp 918 springs,btw...
Thanks fellas

You should be ok with using a VSI shim #107. If you want .060" thickness use #A107. If you want .030" thickness use #B107. If you add "HP" to the end of the number, you will get case hardened shims.
They are also available in .015" thickness with #C107. Most engine machine shops should carry these shims. If you have any trouble finding them, send me an email and I'll try and provide more help.
Hope this answers your question.
