01 LS6 Valve Springs w/ Comp Cam I have the 01 LS6 valve springs on my 5.3 truck engine and plan on purchasing the 212/218 114 LSA cam from Thunder Racing. Will the 01 LS6 valve springs work with this cam with a 6200 rpm redline? Thanks for any help <img border="0" alt="[Truck]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_truck.gif" />

I figure if the springs can handle the hot cam they should handle this one also. Please correct me if I am wrong. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

Re: 01 LS6 Valve Springs w/ Comp Cam The springs are made for the 01' LS6 cam which has .525 intake and exhaust lift. That cam should work just fine with those springs. I've had those springs on my truck for a year with no problems. Plus, it looks cool to open the valve covers and see the blue springs in there.
