Default Did you know...

That when you balance the Lunati crank and you have to add weight, the crank sensor plates have to come off and when you do that they are ruined and you have to buy new plates from Lunati ($75). Did you know that the bolt threads for the main caps are an odd ball size and no one makes a tap for those threads.

The LS1 is a metric motor. I'm sure somebody somewhere makes taps for it. Probably get 'em at Sears.

You got that right. It is coming around, but slowly. My machinist made a tap out of the old bolts. It was something that had to do with ARP studs not going in all the way. (and no the threads wheren't stipped) I think the hole was not deep enough or something.
