Sorry if I missed this info but what springs are being used with the .592? I'm guessing the 918s with stock heads.

What kind of power difference between the two different lifts?

Would you consider this capable of being a daily driver?

Chris, yeah there's 4 degrees in the smaller one and 0 in the bigger. The bigger one was more for ported and milled heads and the smaller for stock heads. MrRamAir wanted to use the bigger cam since he is getting heads soon..worked very well. Don't think there is really too much difference in power between the two cams though.

The smaller cam peaked at 6400rpm on Gators car and the bigger peaks around 6600rpm on MrRamAirs car. The bigger on my Formula with heads heads peaks at 6450rpm.

These cars are driven almost everyday and we are all using 918 springs. No problems yet.

you would have to spin it to the moon! with my 111 LSA it peaks at 6400 and the 110 peaks around th same. i know of 112's that peak around 6600! be ready to buy a new longblock! this cam is not for the feighnt of heart, but it does idle pretty decent with programing!

Gator is right--you'd have to spin that thing a lot higher than a stock shortblock will handle.

It is a rowdy cam. Nice power throughout the curve, but you really have to spin it.

I think the MMS 229 cam was on a 114 or 112 and did not peak as high as 6600. One of the Raging cams had zero advance, so if 4 degrees of advance were added, it could come up 1-2 degrees of LSA and probably hold the powerband to the same rpm peak.
