Cool! Excellent results, not that I wasn't already tempted enough to slap a solid roller in my motor.

You still have a stock rear in that beast? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Coming soon! <img border="0" alt="[kaboom]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bomb.gif" /> 10-bolt

Do you think you could dyno it before/after with the 9" Ford rearend swap and nothing else? That would be some interesting info to know!!

Thanks,
Tony

I am curious where the torque went. Is that a function of the solid roller? My 388 churned out 46X in the tq department. Granted it made 50 less hp...but I am curious where the torque is. Is this a function of the big bore motors being able to more fully unshroud the valves? Maybe it is the fact that you are running a larger cam than I am which is why you are making more hp than tq. My motor is actually making more tq than hp. I am seriously impressed with the overall results of your car...and I am sure that it will run some awesome times. I am always looking for more information though...any insight?

It will be interesting to see how much the numbers change with tuning. This wasn't stock tuning though...it couodn't be. The car wouldn't run with larger injectors would it? Wouldn't it be more accurate to say that it was a rough tune?

The fuel and spark tables are bone stock.

I'll let Shane post the new dyno numbers. We swapped on a set of stepped Dynatechs this afternoon and the numbers were very nice. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I'll have the dyno graphs posted this evening.

Congrats Shane!

That's the problem with surfing while working...sometimes you miss little details. Good to hear that those Dynatechs are worth something over the TTS headers. Which collectors are being used?

Shane you got one bad ride there buddy. Congrats. Plus I see more to come.

Guys, I saw the latest dynoes. The headers made a good bit of difference. Not only peak numbers but smoked the tts headers down lower in the graph. I thin the intake is the major restriction now. Hey shane..start saving for that sheetmetal custom intake <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Once again man..awesome ride. Wanna trade..oh yea..I'm calling you out like it sites..at the track..just give me time to get my tranny back, none of this from a role or top end crap..real racers go from a dead..hehehehhe.

Congrats on the new setup, it's very impressive! I'm eventually going with an iron block as well, but I'm going the FI route. Were there any problems or concerns going with the iron block?
