First Dyno Numbers for Solid Roller 409!!!
<strong>awesome a low peaking curve from a solid roller 409! just wondering why didnt you go with a 422 or similar big bore/stroke size like others have done in the past? i assume this is all on forged internals.
in any event, that is amazing! it really sucks we have to be limited to these LS6 intakes! imagine what that would do with a big intake! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I decided to go with the iron block with a conservative .030" overbore and an all forged Lunati stroker kit. I will be beating the hell out of this thing and I feel the jury is still out on re-sleeved blocks. <strong>It will be interesting to see how much the numbers change with tuning. This wasn't stock tuning though...it couodn't be. The car wouldn't run with larger injectors would it? Wouldn't it be more accurate to say that it was a rough tune?</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">If you'll note, Shane's first post says tuned for larger injectors and rev limiter.
The fuel and spark tables are bone stock.

I'll have the dyno graphs posted this evening.

Guys, I saw the latest dynoes. The headers made a good bit of difference. Not only peak numbers but smoked the tts headers down lower in the graph. I thin the intake is the major restriction now. Hey shane..start saving for that sheetmetal custom intake <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Once again man..awesome ride. Wanna trade..oh yea..I'm calling you out like it sites..at the track..just give me time to get my tranny back, none of this from a role or top end crap..real racers go from a dead..hehehehhe.
