I know I have a lot to learn here but I have recently added the 218/222 113 LSA and heads to my LS1, the high end horsepower is there in fact it was still making HP at 6500 but I did not want to take the stock lower end higher than 6500, but my lowend torque seems poor at least by the SOTP method, in a street race I do not leave very hard and thus the other car gets an easy car on me before I start to make power, I am able to make up the distance before the end of 2nd but by SOTP It just seems low on the torque side. My thoughts are after I am able to get all the new changes dialed in I will most likely be looking to change cams. I think it is right to say just experiment with them till you find one you like....now if someone else can pay for all this experimenting I would be thrilled.
