w/ my XE-R 226 I'm somewhere in between 925-950rpms and it is very smooth. I originally had it at 800rpms and it tried to shake me outta the car, plus it struggled to stay running.

I'm running the XE-R 224/224, and I have my idle at 825 in gear w/ the a/c off. I have it set that low b/c I want to hear the cam. I have to two-pedal it w/ the a/c on, though, when coming to a stop. If you set it at 900 w/ the a/c off in gear, then you should be fine.

I use 900 rpms. Had it at 950 but cut it to 900.

LOL Joel LS1 Edit wasn't an option for the '02's when I had the PCM tuned.
