Default Low Oil light won't go out????

I just changed the oil 3 weeks ago, and it had been sitting at the shop fo rthe past 2 weeks. Saturday evening, I made a U-turn and then floored it. After that, the low oil light came on.

I was right at Wal-mart and bought a quart of Mobil 1. I put it in there and it was a little over the top of the XXXXXXXX's, so I know my oil wasn't low to begin with. It must have been from the u-turn and then the flooring of the car.

So I called Big MACZ, and he said it was probably just a stuck sensor and to weave around, launch and brake and that might loosen it up and it'd go away.

Well, it's still on. Any ideas?

just fyi, it does take a while for it to go back off after it goes on, even if it's full or just been filled with oil. How long I can't exactly remember...

been 3 days so far. I may just use the black electrical tape mod and wait until i change my oil again.

Or I might drain my oil into a clean pan, then pour it back in.
